Expanding the grandMA3 system is simple with addition of the grandMA3 processing unit. The grandMA3 processing unit L (Large) expands the system by 8,192 parameters and offers frame-synchronous calculation of the parameters. Designed for larger systems, the L model offers a more cost effective and compact solution for parameter expansion. Additionally, the grandMA3 processing unit L is backwards compatible so a you can expand existing grandMA2 systems by 4,096 parameters.
The grandMA3 processing units are designed for rack mounting and all models are only 2 Rack spaces, allowing for efficient touring solutions. Each model is equipped with 8 DMX outputs, a True1 input, and 3 USB ports. Additional DMX outputs are available with the addition of a Pathport Octo Node or Pathport Quattro Node.
The grandMA3 processing unit provides a system overview on an integrated touchscreen. This easy access to important functions allows for best maintenance if installed in a dedicated rack where every function can be monitored from the grandMA session.
